Dozens of Massachusetts public school districts are getting money to help homeless students.

The state has released more than one-point-seven million dollars in federal funds to support services including family engagement and tutoring.

Among the 47 school districts receiving the grants are Springfield, Holyoke, and Chicopee.

Governor Maura Healey said her administration will continue to advocate for additional federal support to address what she calls a "federal problem."
