FEMA Provides 300K For New Protective Equipment

In Amherst, the fire department is being awarded some three hundred thousand dollars in FEMA funding for new protective equipment.

The current equipment, much of it with forever chemicals.

The new equipment will be PFAS free.

There will be enough money to outfit the entire department with new gear.
