The death toll for Helene is at least three.
One person in Tampa and two people in Georgia were killed as Helene made landfall last night as a powerful Category 4 hurricane.
Helene is no longer a hurricane, but even as a tropical storm it's still packing a punch as it moves across Georgia.
The storm has maximum sustained winds of 70 miles per hour.
Tornadoes could be a possibility this morning in eastern Georgia, the Carolinas and southern Virginia.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency's Massachusetts Task Force 1 is headed to Florida. The group will help with emergency response to Hurricane Helene.
The 45-member Massachusetts team specializes in urban search and rescues. It includes firefighters, technical rescue specialists, medical personnel, canine handlers, engineers and civilians with specialty skills.
