Springfield Police needed roughly an hour to arrest a teen who made a threat against Chestnut Middle School.
Police Superintendent Larry Akers says Facebook Security notified police of the issue- and police were able to track down and arrest the suspect.
A 14-year-old boy was arrested.
That wasn’t the only issue.
A student was also investigated after another threat was made.
Police say it came from inside one of the schools.
But it appears that a student took the phone of a staffer to make the call.
No criminal charges were filed in that case.
