Ethel Kennedy Hospitalized After Stroke

Ethel Kennedy is being hospitalized after suffering a stroke last week.

The 96-year-old human rights advocate is the widow of former U.S. Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy.

Her grandson Joe Kennedy the Third announced on social media that she suffered a stroke in her sleep on Thursday and was taken to a hospital.

He goes on to say she is getting the best care possible and is surrounded by family.

Ethel Kennedy is the mother to eleven children, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Her husband was assassinated in 1968 during his presidential campaign.
