A private funeral mass was held yesterday in Centerville for Ethel Kennedy, the family matriarch who died last week at the age of 96.
Around 200 people attended the service, including son Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and her grandson and former Congressman Joe Kennedy.
Other prominent officials on hand included Senator Ed Markey and former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.
After the service, Joseph Kennedy the third, the former Massachusetts Congressman told reporters that he has no doubt that his grandmother- and grandfather, Robert F Kennedy are together again in heaven.
Interment will be private.
