A man that lost a Superintendent job in Western Massachusetts for using the word "ladies" in an email last year is filing a lawsuit.

Vito Perrone is suing the five members of the Easthampton School Committee that voted to cancel his contract offer.

Perrone addressed district officials as "ladies" in an email about his contract, which the members called a "micro aggression" and an issue that could make administrators and teachers uncomfortable.

The lawsuit claims Perrone has suffered lost wages and personal humiliation.
