Significant layoffs are beginning this week at Mass General Brigham.
Officials with the state's largest private employer have not revealed the exact number of layoffs, but they are expected to be in the hundreds.
The company is looking to save 200-million-dollars with the job cuts, estimated to be two percent of their 82 thousand employees.
The first round of layoffs of management and administrative staff will happen this week, with the rest taking place in March.
