A federal judge in Rhode Island says the Trump administration violated a court order when it froze federal funding.

U.S. District Chief Judge John McConnell granted a motion for enforcement of a temporary restraining order that he signed last month.

The order blocks President Trump's freeze of Congress-approved funds.

Judge McConnell ordered the federal government to immediately end any federal funding pause until a further, more permanent decision is made.
