Boston Mayor Michelle Wu is supporting Police Commissioner Michael Cox after he was criticized by U.S. border czar Tom Homan.
President Trump's border czar warned that he would be "bringing hell to Boston" after comments by Cox that city police would not help ICE agents.
Homan says Cox has become a politician who should take the badge off his chest and put it in his desk drawer.
Wu says the comments are insulting.
She says Cox has her complete confidence, and the city will continue following and enforcing the law to keep residents safe.
