Partial Meltdown Expected For Rest Of The Week

It looks like we are going to finish the month of February on a warmer than expected note.

It's just the thing we need to get rid of what snow and ice remain on area roads.

Temperatures are expected to reach the mid to upper 40's today. There is an outside chance at 50.

The experts in The Weather Center say that a cold front will produce several showers, not a drenching rain, but enough to help wash away the snow.

Not everywhere will get a shower.

Although we won't get much in the way of sun today, Wednesday should produce a fair amount of sun.

For some parts of the region, the next real chance for snow will be on Saturday, but just a few snow showers. Certainly not anything like we have been through over the last couple of weekends.

The warmer temps will not continue for a long period of time.

It looks like Sunday we will see temps barely reach the middle 30's.
