Holyoke Mayor Joshua Garcia's re-election bid is underway.
Garcia held a kickoff event last night to start his campaign for a second term.
The mayor said he believes his initiatives have improved quality of life and safety in Holyoke, and laid out some goals for the next four years.
They include expanding the tax base and bringing more jobs into the city.
