RFK Jr. Backs Measles Vaccine

Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is pushing for people to get vaccinated against measles.

Kennedy, who has been known for vaccine skepticism, made the call in an opinion piece on Fox News Sunday.

Last week authorities reported the first measles death in the U.S. since 2015 as a measles outbreak has led to hospitalizations in Texas.

While noting that the decision to vaccinate is a personal one, Kennedy said the vaccine protects children and contributes to community immunity.
