The Blue Devils, who are hours removed from defeating the Louisville Cardinals in the ACC Tournament Final on Saturday (March 15), despite losing star freshman Cooper Flagg in the quarterfinal last Thursday (March 15), will face the No. 16 seed, which will be determined by a play-in game between American and Mount Saint Mary's.
The Houston Cougars were selected as the No. 1 seed in the Midwest Region, topping a bracket for the third consecutive year. The Cougars, who defeated Arizona in the Big 12 Tournament Final on Saturday, will face No. 16 Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

The SEC set a new record with 14 total teams receiving tournament bids.
