Warren Report: Home Prices Continue To Rise Across State

The latest housing report from The Warren Group is out and it shows median prices across the state are up a little more than 4 percent to 575 thousand dollars.

Hampden County prices rose about 5 percent to 311 thousand dollars. Hampshire County up 11 percent to 390 thousand dollars while Berkshire County home sales saw prices increase by a fraction of a percent to 311 thousand dollars.

Across Western Mass:

In Agawam sales were down by 7 percent. The median price up 9 percent to 382 thousand dollars.

Chicopee: Sales up 30 percent while the median price went to more than 286 thousand dollars. That's an increase of about 8 percent.

Holyoke: Sales increase by 60 percent; the median price up 7 percent to 312 thousand dollars.

Longmeadow: Sales went down by 50 percent, but the median price went went up by about a third to 563 thousand dollars.

Springfield: Sales dropped by more than 50 percent, while median prices were up slightly to 260 thousand dollars.
