The Springfield City Council tonight is expected to pass a measure that would increase trash fees for homes that have Accessory Dwelling Units, or Mother In Law apartments.
The homeowner would be charged 90 dollars and there would be no discounts.
Councilors will also vote on a resolution calling on State Lawmakers to immediately open an investigation into high electric rates.
In addition, the resolution calls for more rate relief.
