Westfield Implements Water Restrictions

The City of Westfield is announcing mandatory water restrictions in response to the recent drought.

City officials have implemented a ban on non-essential outdoor water use including washing cars and watering the lawn.

The Department of Public Works said outdoor water use will be allowed one day a week based on when residents get their water bill.

Those who violate the restriction face a 50-dollar fine.
