The state legislature is considering proposals that would ban people from getting religious exemptions for child vaccines.
Supporters of the proposals are concerned that religious exemptions are being misused by parents who do not want their children to take certain vaccines.
Some people who want the exemptions to remain say there is a lack of accountability for makers of vaccines.
Similar bills have been proposed in past years but have failed to gain legislative approval.
