Karen Read is seeking to have four of the five counts dismissed in a wrongful death lawsuit filed against her.
Read was acquitted of charges related to the death of her Boston cop boyfriend John O'Keefe in Canton in July.
The O'Keefe family has filed the lawsuit against Read.
She has filed a motion with the court to dismiss counts alleging reckless infliction of emotional distress on the family.
Read also vehemently denies that she's liable to the family, saying there was no collision between her SUV and O'Keefe.
