Two Springfield City Councilors running for re-election are one step closer to another term.
Ward Four Councilor Malo Brown and Ward Six Councilor Victor Davila each finished first in their primaries last night to advance to the November general election against the candidates who placed second.
Brown will face Willie Naylor while Davila is running against Mary Johnson.
Incumbent District Three School Committee member Christopher Collins is also moving on to the general election against Rosa Valentin.
