There will be increased security measures at the Massachusetts Democratic Convention in Springfield this weekend following the shooting of Charlie Kirk.
State party chair Steve Kerrigan said everyone entering the MassMutual Center will be screened, and no bags larger than five-by-seven inches will be permitted.
He added that the party is communicating with delegates on what they can expect throughout the convention.
This guest list this weekend includes Massachusetts Senators Elizabeth Warren and Ed Markey and Governor Maura Healey.
