Twenty-five states including Massachusetts are scoring a win after suing the Trump Administration for its reversal of SNAP benefits.
The Commonwealth's top lawyer, Andrea Joy Campbell, plus 22 other state attorneys general and three governors challenged the USDA's demand over the weekend that states "undo" their issuance of full SNAP benefits.
The coalition asked a Massachusetts Court for a temporary restraining order Monday and got it, blocking the feds from clawing back the money after states began issuing full payments.
Campbell said Massachusetts and the others will keep fighting until the Trump Administration stops using residents as political bargaining chips.
