A North Adams man is in custody for allegedly killing his parents.
Berkshire County authorities say 44-year-old Darius Hazard assaulted his parents inside their home on Francis Street then set the house on fire after pouring gasoline on the first floor.
The bodies of 76-year-old Venture and 83-year-old Donald Hazard were found when first responders arrived at the scene.
Darius Hazard is charged with arson and murder.
