Mayor Domenic Sarno is mourning the death of a prominent community leader and festival founder.
Jerald "Jay" Griffin died Wednesday.
The mayor said Griffin's legacy will forever be remembered for his work to bring the community together.
Sarno said his thoughts and prayers are with Griffin's children, extended family and friends.
