Enfield police say a man is in custody in connection to the death of his stepdaughter.
The department says 39-year-old Anthony Federline was arrested last Friday on sexual charges as officers continue to investigate the death of a 12-year-old whose body was found at a home on Elm Street last month.
Federline reportedly worked as a school bus driver for Enfield Public Schools, but the district says he's been terminated.
The investigation into the child's death is ongoing.
Police Chief Aleric Fox says Federline is specifically charged with sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor, but not the actual death.
Police are still investigating.
