Investigators say a deadly shooting in Springfield last weekend was in self-defense.
The Hampden District Attorney's Office says charges will not be filed in the death of 35-year-old Robert Murchison on July Fifth.
Authorities said Murchison showed up at a home on Fairfield Street and pointed a gun at a man before he was shot and killed by the man's wife.
According to officers, the incident stemmed from a dispute on social media.
