Severe thunderstorms capable of producing flooding rainfall are expected to shift from the Midwest into the mid-Atlantic and Northeast this week.
A flood watch is in effect for much of Connecticut and Massachusetts later today as massive storms are poised to hit the region.
Showers and thunderstorms are expected throughout the day.
In some locations, we could see several inches of rain.
The same kind of weather pattern will be with us for both Wednesday and Thursday.
