Cyclospora cases are spiking in Massachusetts.
Health officials say more than 100 new cases were reported in July, bringing this year's count to nearly 150.
This is the most in Massachusetts since 2019, when 211 were reported.
However, both years are outliers because Massachusetts has not otherwise recorded more than 100 cyclospora cases in about a decade.
Despite the surge, state health officials say the number remains modest in the context of the national outbreak.
