A man and woman from Enfield are facing child abuse charges.
An investigation was launched in June after teachers at Enfield Street School suspected a five-year-old student was getting abused.
Police say Matthew Wezniak strangled the child, blocking his airway, and Jessica Abelin didn't do anything about it.
Wezniak's bond was set at 250-thousand, while Abelin's was set at 150 thousand
