The Republican on the ballot as the candidate for lieutenant governor is free on personal recognizance following his arraignment today.
Shawn Oliver, who was arrested yesterday in New Bedford for operating under the influence, after crashing, pleaded not guilty.
He has suspended his campaign saying the election is "too important to be overshadowed by personal matters."
If elected governor, Mike Minogue said he will ask for his running mate's resignation.
