No matter where you go, you are likely to run into someone who doesn’t like this or that for whatever reason.
And, it doesn’t matter who tries to do something nice in response to an impropriety, it is likely to be met with something negative.
True, Congress has the Championship for being negative. But it goes so much further than that.
When Alyssa Milano, the actress followed through on a friends idea of “Me Too” a lot of people understood what she was talking about. Empowering women to come forward, to stand up for themselves in the fight against sexual abuse. You know the story. I don’t need to get into that.
Believe it or not people say it is just a phrase and will do nothing. It actually may not but it will give hope. I guess we will put aside that thing that words have meanings.
It’s like what I always say, You can knock down anything as being not enough, too costly, not broad based or anything else. But in doing so you fail.
If what is being done is not the answer…what is the question?
Are there any ideas to stop stupidity and crime and bad from happening?
Is there a way we can succeed in the battle without creating any additional issues?Alyssa Milano may not have the entire answer. But she sure does have part of it. When women stand up against abuse, they win. And, society does too.
And, while that in and of itself might not be enough to end the problem, it is certainly a start.
