The wife of David Ortiz is thanking the man who drove him to the hospital after the Red Sox legend was shot in the Dominican Republic.
Tiffany Ortiz is offering thanks to Eliezer Salvador, who sped her husband to the hospital for life saving treatment.
Salvador reportedly hit other vehicles and drove at speeds up to 120 miles per hour to reach the hospital quickly.
Ortiz remains in guarded condition at Massachusetts General Hospital as he continues to recover from the shooting.
All nine people connected to the shooting have pleaded not guilty to the charges although there has been no indication as to the motive.
