More Suspensions From RMV

A recent review of Massachusetts drivers' out-of-state violations has resulted in 869 suspensions.

In an interim report released today, the Registry of Motor Vehicles says the records of all five-point-two million Massachusetts drivers were reviewed and compared with those of the National Driver Register database.

The review follows the discovery that the RMV should have terminated the license of a West Springfield man because he refused a chemical test during a drunk driving investigation in Connecticut in May.

Volodymyr Zhukovsky was subsequently driving a pickup truck towing a trailer when he crashed into a group of motorcyslists in Randolph, New Hampshire, killing seven people in June.
