Holyoke Police Crack Down On Neighborhood Quality Of Life Issues

City ordinance inspections are underway in Holyoke in an effort to keep properties properly maintained and clean.

A team of inspectors from the Board of Health, Department of Public Works, the police and fire departments are targeting blighted properties as well as overgrown vegetation, unregistered vehicles and overflowing dumpsters.

In the last six weeks nearly 250 properties were notified of violation and fines of varying amounts issued.
